Equine sarcoid at the girth position directly at the bottom behind the front legs. This one has been treated with Xxterra and is healing well, but is still where the girth strap goes. Add a generous amount of slippery ointment (Furacin ointment works well) and cover the girth in this area with plastic wrap. The girth will no longer rub over the sarcoid but will hold the saddle on the horse.
Equine sarcoid at the girth position directly at the bottom behind the front legs. This one has been treated with Xxterra and is healing well, but is still where the girth strap goes.
