Intraocular injection of an antibiotic killed the bacteria causing the blockage and decreased the pressure within the eyeball but the damage was permanent. The horse is blind in this eye but is pain free. Daily doses of a topical NSAID keeps the pressure around 70. Normal is about 10. Note smaller pupil of the unresponsive damaged left eye.
