Teeth in S3 condition (floated 2 1/2 months ago). Chiro said he had a TMJ issue and needed teeth rechecked. I found this cut of unknown origin.
Pink circular rub mark on the lower lip which associates with the upper canine whrn the lip is drawn back. From playing with the stall bars.

Horse D - Although blurred, you can see a vertical red split on the rostral surface of the frenulum of the tongue. This is a cut of unknown origin.

Trauma from an unknown cause that was non-painful and healing well. Note the smooth and clean edges. The saliva bathes the area bringing germ fighting antibodies.

There are 2 lesions here. The large one is of unknown cause but is a few days old. The yellow border is normal healing of the oral mucosa. The smaller red area ventral to the cut is probably bruising from the altered bit position. This may have been from hand walking with a chain with pressure against very sharp teeth, but it is uncertain.
Partially healed erosions with a healing edge but still being aggravated from the tongue.

This was an incidental finding during routine floating. The thickening of the tissue and margins of this gum wound indicates that this is a few days old. While there is debris in the wound there is no indication of infection as it is bathed in saliva with antibodies. I presume that this will heal without problems. The horse had no difficulty chewing.
Hyperemic (reddened) gums with a traumatic gum lesion above the incisors. Also, mild signs of EOTRH.
Tongue frenulum damage from power dentistry. About 3 days after.
Gum damage fro a lip chain (groom coonfessed).
From someone - uncertain of case but the lip lesion is good.
