This horse could not chew, was drooling, and kept his tongue stuck out. He was inappetent and his gums were pale and he was depressed. There were no tooth abnormalities. After the dental exam, he immediately went back to chewing and acted hungry for grain and hay, though it lasted only for a few hours. The teeth were sharp but there were no ulcers. UNFORTUNATELY, he was euthanized 2 days later. There was no autopsy. He was currant with his rabies vaccinations. There was no clover in his paddock.
