While there isn't a lot of pasture here, these minis have the added reduction of grass with the use of a grazing muzzle. They should be kept clean at all times and replaced when the bottom wears and the horse can gain access to more grass through the worn hole.

While this is a happy mini horse, the BCS is high and the availability of nutrition in this field of grass is unlimited.

Plastic water troughs are used here to soak the hay. The water is drained using the drain plug at the bottom. Placing these tubs on a sturdy flat wagon makes distributing the wet hay very easy.
